For a long time, most of us thought that spirituality and religion were one and the same.
The Hindu philosophy, as we see it today, is not a religion but a way of life. Unfortunately, over the years, some pundits and self professed learned elders…
Have twisted the facts to suit their audiences and themselves.
For example, it’s like choosing to go to Auroville, from the farthest corners of the earth; it’s the choice you have made and your destiny leads you there.
And in turn your awareness.
Although one does appreciate the finer points of this path, one must not be rigid in ones thoughts, not set aside the rhythm of life.
To discover the very essence of life, To ride upon the crest of a wave,
Upon the path that god has framed, and feel the pull towards his being,
For a life of joy and full of meaning.
Life is painful, and the path to progress within the self more so. A willingness to grow, is another aspect of spirituality. To discover the truth one has to separate the wheat from the chaff. Not a blind acceptance, but a willingness to understand the purpose of life.

Spirituality is a state of surrender, to realize God and Godliness to believe,
And be aware of the forces of nature, through consciousness.
It is about discovering the truth. You can believe that life is without a purpose,
but an alternative path to realization is to be discovered.

Auroville is the place where this new way of living is being worked out; it is a new centre
of accelerated evolution where man must begin to change his world through the power of
the inner spirit.
